Kaspersky for Exchange server error
Solution
Problem:-
While trying to update the virus definitions it gives the following error in event viewer Anti-virus database is corrupted, error code -2147467259 this will prevent users from accessing their mails. If antivirus for exchange is disabled then users can access their mails.
Solution:-
Try to do following actions:
1. Delete the contents of the folders: C:\\Program Files\\Kaspersky Lab\\Kaspersky Security for Microsoft Exchange Server\\Bases
2. Repeat the update.
If this action did not help you to solve trouble please try to do following:
1. In the subfolders \asbases and \bases of the Kaspersky Security setup folder manually create empty text files and name them _UPD.LOG (logs of the update process of anti-virus and anti-spam databases will be written in these subfolders).
2. In the management console in general settings on the Diagnostics tab set the debug diagnostics level for the updates subsystem.
3. Run the update.
